Amy Goldburg

Amy told people that she was going to be a lawyer when she was a child and saw her first episode of Perry Mason (in black and white). A visit to a university lecture as a teenager, cemented Amy’s desire to become a solicitor.
Amy Profile
The determination to be a voice for those who may not be able to speak up for themselves and to ensure that just outcomes are reached, has stuck with Amy throughout her life and has underpinned her career.

In 2012, Amy graduated with a double degree of Law and Business from James Cook University, Cairns, and in 2013, she was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia.

She has practised exclusively in family law throughout her career and is experienced in property settlements, parenting disputes and agreements, financial agreements, domestic and family violence matters, divorce, and child support matters. Amy regularly participates in mediations and appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

In 2019, Amy joined the team at Reaston Drummond Law and in 2020, she was appointed an Associate.

As a parent herself, Amy is able to relate to her clients and understands the difficulties facing single parents. Amy’s common-sense approach to family law matters and her down-to-earth attitude means that her clients feel at ease and supported throughout the family law process.
